Counsl is a UK based company that has dedicated the past years to research how to have an efficient and sound model of interaction when acquiring professional services. The solution took the form of Counsl web application – a platform that empowers businesses to thrive by transforming the way advice is sought and implemented. This platform is envisioned as a dependable companion and advisor to businesses at every phase of their development. It offers transparently priced access to a pool of experts and professionals at every juncture of the business journey. It promotes meaningful discussions over rigid contracts, ensuring that advice is both valuable and timely. The project’s focus was developing the platform’s MVP, enabling small businesses to effortlessly access essential services. Utilizing Counsl’s AI-driven solution, users seamlessly search, connect, and book with service providers. Additionally, the platform facilitates seamless video calls, enhancing the overall Counsl experience. Building an MVP in a short period of time is in itself a challenge, building an MVP that requires integration with multiple third-party services in a short period of time, adds even more complexity. Key challenges of the project: Integrating multiple third-party services like Pinecone for search, Formance for ledger, Stripe for payments, and Yoti for identity verification can be challenging. To mitigate risks, the team chose reliable services that align with project needs, created detailed integration plans, identified dependencies, and maintained communication with vendors for support and issue resolution. Aligning client expectations with third-party service capabilities, particularly regarding the search feature using Pinecone, was a key product challenge. This was resolved through regular and effective communication between the client and development teams, coupled with iterative feedback loops for feature improvement.
xFabric is a sovereign blockchain module, and core blockchain application, deployable in minutes, fully customizable providing users with a robust and versatile platform, that empowers anyone to effortlessly build, manage, and oversee their very own website with little to no coding knowledge required. With the flexibility to customize the site to suit a wide array of purposes, be it a community-focused social hub, an NFT marketplace, a professional business showcase, or even a creative portfolio, it serves as an all-inclusive destination to enable any Web3 idea to come to reality. We managed to deliver an MVP in under 3 months and due to the urgency of the launch we prioritised development and set milestones that would guarantee launching the product withut compromising on the value proposition and quality of the site builder, NFT marketplace, events or wallet sections of the platform. Key challenges of the project: - Offering the best User Experience for setting up a metaspace. (Design-Frontend meetings made this possible) - Bringing together multiple moving parts and co-existing with chain technology as a separate SaaS project. - Conducting QA testing as it more often involved multiple applications (xPortal, MultiversX API, xSpotlight, etc.).
The Wave is an intelligent wristband that cools or warms on demand to provide relief as a new category of safe and natural solutions to manage hot flashes, sleep issues, stress, and thermal discomfort. The Wave’s mobile app gives the user more control over the Wave’s features, especially the means to personalize warming or cooling sensations. It acts as a companion app for the Wave wristband and can be used to control it through BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) connection. Clinical studies in women with menopausal hot flashes showed that the Embr Wave relieved the thermal discomfort associated with hot flashes and helped women get better sleep. The project’s goal was a successful release of the mobile application in sync with Wave 2’s hardware development and retail release preparations. Key challenges of the project: Validating React Native as a hybrid technology for consistent user experience on both iOS and Android devices, especially in relation to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity. Synchronizing mobile app design and development with the new wristband’s hardware development lifecycle in order to meet the market release target. Conducting extensive QA testing of the mobile application and stress testing with the wristband to ensure a highly stable user experience across both iOS & Android devices.
Tertill Corporation is a consumer products company founded by Roomba inventor Joe Jones and veteran roboticist Rory MacKean, Tertill Corporation is headed by Helen Greiner, co-founder of iRobot. Tertill, is the world’s first robot designed to autonomously weed home gardens without long term human intervention, being a weatherproof and solar-powered robot. We helped Tertill conceptualize, design, develop & release a new version of the its mobile application used to connect and interact with the Tertill robot. All this in under 5 months. We built the MVP version of the mobile companion application for the home garden weeding robot, in 4 months. Our teams had great collaboration with the client ensuring clear communication based on exact specifications and requirements. The app was poised to offer weather updates and at a later stage weather predictions. Our development process was thorough, involving strategic planning, rigorous execution, and extensive QA to ensure app reliability. We utilized React Native for real-time control, set up Google Cloud infrastructure, and followed Agile methodologies for iterative progress. Our user-centric design approach, backed by research and interactive prototypes, resulted in a seamless and engaging cross-platform experience.
We put together a new mobile iOS app that is used for holding Mobile Identification (Mobile Credentials) and engaging in communication with HID Readers in order to transfer security data (keys/credentials) and unlock doors. HID Global is an American manufacturer of secure identity products. The company is an independent brand of Assa Abloy, a Swedish door and access control conglomerate. The team in Sweden has reached out in search of a new dev partner to accelerate the development and execution of a defined scope of work – a new mobile iOS Application. The project had two important goals: the successful integration with Apple Wallet that led to a showcase in front of Apple representatives and successfully releasing the mobile application worldwide for HID’s clients. Key challenges of the project: Integrating HID’s proprietary SDK that handled Bluetooth communication. Working with proprietary Apple methods that were specifically designed for HID Global in order to create a proprietary integration between HID cards and Apple Wallet. Conducting extensive QA testing of the mobile application and stress testing different HID lock mechanisms to ensure a great user experience, especially for custom proprietary gestures from HID like “Twist & Go“.
