InsightTRAC is an autonomous in-field robotic winter sanitation / pest removal service. Our role in this project was to create a machine vision & (machine learning / AI) model capable of spotting almonds remaining in orchards that need removed. This project was challenging in that we need to identify small almonds in large (4k) images of similarly colored objects and varying lighting conditions.
