Primary Responsibilities
● Documentation Creation and Maintenance: Partner with product managers, solution architects, and developers to gather requirements and produce, review, and revise technical documentation. This includes software, systems engineering, system operations, and testing documentation, tailored for technical users.
● Consistency and Collaboration: Work closely with developers to ensure your documentation aligns with the documentation produced by others. Update all relevant documentation to maintain consistency.
● Template Development: Collaborate with Product and other technical writers to create and maintain standardized templates for documentation, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all materials.

Key Skills
● Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities with a strategic and creative approach.

● Technical Aptitude: A solid technical background with a willingness to learn and adapt. You don’t need to know everything but must be proactive in understanding the technical aspects you document.
● Big Picture Thinking: Ability to see and maintain the overall documentation structure, connecting dots and filling gaps effectively.
General Qualifications
● Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a technical writer with a track record of editing and rewriting technical documentation for various audiences.
● Agile Environment: Experience working with agile software development teams, particularly in remote or globally distributed settings.
● Documentation Tools: Proficiency with industry-standard tools for software delivery, development, and documentation, including wiki, issue and project tracking, diagramming, road mapping, project management, version control software, and codeeditors/IDEs.
