We are looking for a skilled and experienced Android Developer with expertise in Android Version 5 (an older version) to join our team. The role involves developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Time Zone: Sweden

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain mobile applications specifically for Android Version 5.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and QA engineers to achieve project goals.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions.
• Stay updated with Android development trends and technologies.
• Translate user requirements into functional features in collaboration with the product team.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: 3+ years of professional Android development experience with a focus on Android Version 5 or earlier.
• Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of Java and Android SDK.
o Proficiency in Android UI design principles and best practices.
o Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
o Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Android NDK and C++.
